Our stay at the Quartermaster Store was exceptional. The value for money was impressive, with a beautiful room and excellent facilities. The location was ideal, quiet yet close to town, and the staff, especially Robyn, were welcoming.
The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from having a wider variety of options.

The bed was very comfortable and we loved having breakfast delivered to our room, giving us a luxurious start to the day. The bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower and plenty of room for toiletries. The towels were soft and luxurious. The owner, Robyne, was incredibly accommodating and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel was well-maintained and very clean. Our host was amazing, making us feel comfortable and welcome from the start. the room was beautiful and the facilities were really good. the area was lovely and we had ample parking space. the hotel was close to the beach and within a short drive to Weymouth. We also really enjoyed the varied continental breakfast.
The space for the kettle didn't have a plug nearby, so we had to use the plug by the bed. It would have been more convenient to have a plug closer to the kettle area.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the property was comfortable, well maintained, and very clean. We loved the historic building and its convenient location near the town's amenities. The breakfast delivered to our room each morning was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to visit again.
We do recommend this hotel.

Free private parking: I've stayed in hotels where you have to pay more for parking than the room itself! But at this charming bed and breakfast, parking was not only complimentary, but also plentiful. It was such a relief to know my car was safe and sound without breaking the bank.
Satellite flat-screen TV: Limited channel options.

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the owner of 1 The Quartermaster Store and instantly felt at ease. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and had four windows, allowing for a stunning view in the morning. I particularly loved the luxury of having breakfast delivered to my door, allowing me to enjoy it in the comfort of the very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower and plenty of room for toiletries. The location of the property was perfect, being both quiet and close to town. It was a pleasure to stay in such a characterful and quirky house.
Although minor, one drawback was that the plug for the kettle was not conveniently located and we had to use the plug by the bed. Additionally, I wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy my time at this delightful establishment.
